Mabon Greetings All and Blessed be. Today marks the Vernal Eqiunox. The world is at balance and the dark is equal to the light. Of marked notice too, is that the moon is also in Libra, the balance. At this time I am usuallly in a secluded state, contemplating the up coming anniversary of my birth, and deciding where I go from here. But the Goddess has had other plans for me these days and I am just trying to fit my routine into hers.
This point marks the descent of the Earth into the dark period. For Wiccans it really only means the time when the darker part of the day is longer than the lighter part of the day. The God takes the forfront and focus.

For those of you interested, this time of ballance can be used as a meditative tool, and the focus on the tarot cards "Justice" and "The Lovers" helps a lot. My focus has always been a casting off of the elements in my life that cannot serve to push me forward physically, spiritually and mentally. It works for me.....
